Montclair Kimberley Academy’s New Annual Fund Logo
August 6, 2010
When the Montclair Kimberley Academy needed a new logo for their Annual Fund Campaign, they called on Red Flannel for our creativity and experience with institutional branding.
Rather than a yearly, theme-based approach, MKA wanted a logo that would provide them with a permanent identity for their annual fund drive to coordinate with branding and marketing efforts, and to distinguish them from logos created for the Academy. Red Flannel developed several different options for MKA to choose from. The design team formulated them into 3 different categories which consisted of a traditional approach, where elements of MKA’s crest were used; a humanistic approach; and a symbolic approach. Below are several logos presented to the MKA during the approval process.
Final suggestions and concerns were addressed and a new logo and identity for the Montclair Kimberely Academy Annual Fund came to fruition.
